History Mardan Board

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Mardan (BISE Mardan) is an autonomous body of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government that conducts examinations for intermediate and secondary school students in the Mardan district. It was established in 1990 under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Intermediate and Secondary Education Act 1990.

The board’s headquarters are located in Mardan city. It has 13 zonal offices in different parts of the district. The board offers examinations for the following levels:
