About Kohat Board
The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Kohat is an autonomous body responsible for conducting examinations and awarding certificates for intermediate and secondary education in the districts of Kohat, Hangu, Karak, and North Waziristan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.
The board was established on January 19, 2002, with Brig (Retd) Talat Imtiaz Naqvi as its first chairman. The board’s headquarters is located in Kohat city. The board offers examinations for the following levels:
- Secondary School Certificate (SSC)
- Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC)
